Today's Word - 1 Corinthians 15:10

<THEOPHONY>

Today's Word - 1 Corinthians 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Prayer:

We are what we are today, is not because of our family background, positions and power we hold, or the financial backing, but, purely, your grace Lord. Though we do not deserve, but yet you are still gracious on us. Thank you Lord. Help us to glorify your name. In Jesus gracious name we pray. Amen.

Certainly that must be so. But we have to apply biblical principles ruthlessly, without wavering. Sin must be confronted when a person is truly abusive to you. If you are in such a relationship, seek counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor. Don't feel ashamed to deal with the issue. It will be the best thing for you and the abusive person. God has clearly stated: "If your brother sins, go and show him his fault" (Mt. 18:15). What follows in Matth...
